Outlook 2011 for mac: disable Exchange cached mode

Is it possible to disable the Exchange cache mode in Outlook 2011 for Mac, and set it to "online" mode only ? The server is Exchange 2010 on a SBS2011 platform.

The reason is that I have a remote user who purchased Outlook 2011 for MAC and configured his Exchange account on it. It is now trying to sync his whole mailbox remotely, which is taking an extremely long time since his mailbox is fairly big, and slowing down our Internet connection quite a bit while trying to upload the mailbox to the Mac.

Thanks.

Hi,

This isn't available for Outlook for mac 2011 at this moment.

But they can say that Outlook for mac 2011 only needs to download headers. This will only download your e-mail message, attachments when you open the e-mail. This is a great feature if you've a slow internet connection or if the download is taking to much bandwith.

Here is some more info about the Advanced Exchange settings for Outlook for mac 2011.
