Hi, I was wondering if there was a way, or program to sift through your inbox and outbox, find all email addresses and convert them to a contact list, xls file or nk2 (auto fill) file.

Thanks guys, this is an Outlook question.

    Accepted Solution

    In OUtlook Simply go to

    Export to a file
Export to Comma Seperated Value ( Windows)
    Choose your Inbox
Name you CSV File and select the location to save it to
Ideally should be a local location on the PC

    Then OKay

All your emails in your iNbox will be exported to csv

    When complete
    OPen the CSV File
In Coloumn D or close to it
    You should see
    From: (Address)

These will be all the email addresses of the senders

You can then use something like NK2 edit to import the addresses

If you using Outlook 2010, you should be aware it no longer uses NK2 files
It uses an stream autocomplete dat file

However, NK2 Edit will still work on it

Thanks so much, that's a life saver, i never would have guessed that the export to csv would work on an inbox.  Go Microsoft!!!
