Crystal Report viewer problems

I work with Sage BusinessVision ERP which is using Crystal reports 10 viewer.

I have a strange problem that showed up and wondering if someone could help. When I run a large report with 17+ pages and then use the arrows to show the next page I can go to page 2 but it will not go from page 2 to 3. Then I click on show last page arrow which works but then I click on show previous page until I get to page 5. I click on show previous page wanting to show page 4 and it does not work. In summary I can't view page 3 and 4 on a 17+ pages reports. If the report is 16 or < pages then I can view all pages.

Any ideas why? This certainly is a strange issue and I have never seen it before.

I remember having question like this for some versions of Crystal.  I believe it was resolved in a Service Pack.  Unfortunately that probably means Sage has to resolve it.

The problem is that Sage is way outdated with the service packs and we can't install them our self because then we face issues with errors and BV crashing.

Understand.  Your service pack level must match the level in the application.  The only way to change the applicaiton is to rebuild it with the new SPs installed.  As a developer, I have seen where installing a SP can cause issues with an application so in some cases an SP is ignored on purpose.

Sadly we are still on Crystal version 10 and nothing is being done to get us on a later version.
