Access 2010 Input Mask for UK Tel No
Hi,
I have a form that I want users to enter a telephone number into in the following format:
+44 (0) 1234 567890
I have tried to no avail using the "Input Mask" option in the form properties sheet.
Can anyone suggest how best to do this, if it is possible of course?
Many thanks

I'm not sure what you mean. The Input Mask you provided works in that it ensures users enter the tel no correctly.
Do you recoomend a different way to achieve this then?

An Input mask will format the values as you are entering them, ...but once you leave the control, the formatting disappears.
A format does the opposite,...it displays the data as you want, but does not control how it is entered.
In any event, try this if you need an Input mask:
\+00" ("0") "0000\ 000000""
