In WIndows 7, how do I get to the device manager

I need to see if a physical NIC is connected to my network

    Right click computer, select manage, and then devices.

    Or go to Control Panel and then 2 options:

    In the Classic view, Device Manager is one of the icons.

    In the Classic view, you can go to System and then click on Device Manager on the left hand side list.

    Or, click on Computer / System Properties / Device Manager (on the left again).
