MS RemoteApp: redirect http links to client side

Hy folks

We are working on a RemoteDesk-Farm environment. All applications are published over WebAccess. I'm wondering if it is possible to redirect http links to the client side.

When a user starts a weblink from the dashboard of the RDWeb-Page it should open on the local client browser and not on the terminalserver host. All the users connecting from their private devices so it is not possible to modifiy these devices.

We only want to provide some http links on the startpage of the RDWeb without installing a tool on the clientside. Is that possible?

This has always been a little of a difficult one, however there is a small free utility which can do what you want. Its called Remote Executer for Terminal Services:

I've not tested on Server 2008R2, so make sure you test it on an isolated RDSH first.

Best of luck and let me know how you get along, I'm curious to know too.

    Hi Netflo

Thank you for your answer. I know this tool but i can't use it because you need to install a software on the client. I am looking for a solution without a client installation.
