Get Contacts from IPhone into Outlook

My new boss starts next week!  He has a bunch of contacts on his Iphone, and wants to bring those into his Outlook here.  What's the best way to do this?  If I set up his phone for ActiveSync, does the Iphone "share" contacts between applications, so he would automatically get them in his Outlook?

Load iTunes onto his computer and set the Synchroniztion in iTunes to sync Calendar and Contacts.

I do that that with iTunes, Outlook 2010 and my iPhone 4s. Works fine.

I do suggest backing up your Outlook Mail (includes Calendar and Contacts) first in case something goes wrong. It should not and did not for me, but you never know.

Another way to do it is to setup Active Sync on this phone: http://support.apple.com/kb/HT2480
