"The solutions and answers provided on Experts Exchange have been extremely helpful to me over the last few years. I wear a lot of hats - Developer, Database Administrator, Help Desk, etc., so I know a lot of things but not a lot about one thing. Experts Exchange gives me answers from people who do know a lot about one thing, in a easy to use platform." -Todd S.

Do you have Excel services installed on your SharePoint server ?

Yes, I believe so but I can't confirm it. I don't have access to Central Admin.
AFAIK you need to have Excel Services installed IF you dont have Excel on your local machine, but here is a run through of how to do what you need to :-

I hope this is useful

I appreciate the input but those are steps to upload or publish the excel doc to a SharePoint  library. I need a specific sheet from the workbook open and displayed on part of the site homepage.
