Having a profile issue with CUPC

When I search for this one user logged in as myself to the chat client software I see his name twice in the user list .   Once as it should - like all the other users, but I see a second with his name and the domain - looks like an e-mail address  name@domain.com

When I log on with his users account, I am able to communicate to other users but the other users see this users account as username@domain  

Where is it pulling the profile from?

The problem has been resloved, apears that the AD account and the callmanger ID must match.
