cisco vwic card on C3845
Hi ;
I see that Cisco 3845 is used for E3/T3/100M ethernet deployment, Can it be used for nxT1 or nxE1 with vwic2-2mft cards? I have not seen such a deployment and was sure if the chassic can support wic cards?

I think your guess is right, it is an adaptor for NM-1T3/E3 card, this card is used with C3845 and the new chassis would need this adaptor to fit the card.
http://www.cisco.com/en/US/products/ps5856/index.html - Check out the specs and if you look at the 3D model you can see this card is actually pictured in the back of the demo unit.
http://www.cisco.com/en/US/prod/collateral/routers/ps5855/product_data_sheet0900aecd8028d2db.html - This shows you that it is compatible and you need to be on at least 12.3(14)T for it to work.
These are great routers. Very stable and dependable.
