sorry for my bad english

with Delphi 7 I want to extract a set of frames (for example frames 1250 to 1320) from a video file flushed to memory bitmaps

the aim is to analyze the content of images
during the process the video should not be played on the screen (invisible task)

video are avi, if possible I would like to use also mkv or mpeg

I tried with dspack, but even with avi I can't grab frames without displaying the video

thanks for your help

What about moving the form with video outside of screen?

    not bad idea
but not clean, I should prefer a cleaner solution especially since I'm not sure than grab works in these condition

also the frame rate should be greater than that of the video
