asked on

Windows 8 PDA phone > 4" screen, hotspot & replaceable battery

I'm looking at the following
Samsung Windows 8 device / phone:
a)  ATIV tab
b)  ATIV S

Four questions

1. Does these 2 models of phones support micro USB connection?
(ie do they have micro USB ports?)

2. How long does their battery last while on standby?  I was very
disappointed with my Nokia Lumia 900's battery: it drains like
within 48 hrs while on standby (I'm not even using it to surf
Net & it has no SIM card in it)

3. Are these 2 models' batteries removable & can we buy spare
batteries & just replace ourselves?  (I don't like iPhone because
    I can't replace batteries myself)

4. Is there an equivalent Windows 8 phone that's like Galaxy Note
(yes, I wanted something > 4" screen, replaceable battery
     with hotspot / Wifi tethering)

No mention on whether the battery is removable & how long is the
standby time tho it says it's 2000mHA battery with wireless charging.

Curious, what's wireless charging?  Does it need a USB dongle to be
plugged into my laptop's USB port & any bluetooth setting needed
or it's immediately ready for charging once plugged in?
