Peernet icon & Dell DW1501 Wireless N-WLAN Half Mini Card

reinstalled the Dell driver and issues for getting online resolved.
However, now the Peernet icon indicates The physical adapter is not available.
I want to know if I can totally delete the Peernet hardware or software which ever this is and if it will effect the Dell DW1501 Wireless N-WLAN Half Mini Card
Windows 7 64 Bit Home Professional is the OS on my Dell Inspiron N7010

It sounds like you told it to let the WLAN Autoconfig (formerly Windows Wireless Zero Configuration) service control your wireless instead of the Dell Wireless (DW) utility, so the PeerNet utility isn't seeing the adapter.

If you do start/orb, type in services.msc and click the one that appears at the top, under Programs (1), then scroll down to DW WLAN Tray Service, right-click it and choose Properties, Stop the service and set its Startup type to Disabled and OK out, the PeerNet icon should stop appearing.

Here's the PeerNet section of the DW LAN card user guide if you want to know more about it
