Connect to a VDI the citrix client crashes.

I have 2 gateway laptops running windows xp using citrix 3.2 client when I connect to a VDI it crashes with the following error.
hdx engine has encountered a problem and needs to close.

Thanks for me I had to delete the network printers and recreate them.
