Need help installing and using fonts in Adobe Photoshop CS

I have Adobe Photoshop CS, and Windows 7 64-bit. I purchased some royalty free fonts, and they came with an unzip utility, a font manager and a catalog of the fonts. There are 10,000 of them, and I was instructed not to install all of them or it would greatly slow my system.
I have two questions:

1. How do I install the fonts with my OS(I'll only install the few I want to use)

2. How do I call up the font in Adobe Photoshop CS? I use the "TEXT" box, but it only has one font.....do I use it in Word and then copy and paste it into a new design in Photoshop? Please help. THanks in advance.

In windows explorer
Either you Right click on the font file *.tff or times.* or *.*

And choose   install

and Drag and Drop the fonts in that folder.

Photoshop and ALL other programs share fonts from the
C:\Windows\Fonts folder,

Once you install them the fonts are system wide available.

If you are showing One font in Photoshop then something is wrong with PS.
Have you restarted PS or your system?

Font install
Here is while in PS

This was great, it worked and the illustrations were just what I needed. Thanks!
