Email from a date on a Spreadsheet

Hi,

I need to generate either an email or a task/Things to do in Outlook when a date in a spreadsheet has been either reached or is close to it. An example is an Accreditation is about to expire and I need to be told it is some 30 days beforehand. This will allow me to have the admin section prepare and do a fresh acreditation.

Thanks.

On thinking about it I see how using a Javascript program would be better suited so am open to all suggetsions not just VB or JS.

Here are some sample scripts for creating Outlook Tasks: Office Space: Tips and Tricks for Scripting Microsoft Office Applications, and the Subject, DueDate and RemainderTime could be taken from your Excel spreadsheet.
Now you just have to consider only WHEN do you want to create the task - pressing a button in Excel, when entering new data, etc.

I appreciated the answer even  though it could have been found on Microsoft Help. My appreciation stems from the fact that if its the first time you have done the particular item then to get direct to an answer makes a huge difference in my daily load.

Once again thank you.
