How do I change Windows 7 Paint default print orientation from landscape to portrait ?

Paint v6 under Vista has the default/fixed orientation set as Portrait
Paint v6.1 under win7 has the default/fixed orientation set as Landscape
In both it can be manually changed on a file by file basis, but when shut down reverts to its std setting

I would like to not be obliged to change it every time I use Paint.

    Accepted Solution

bakfaloni--On the Home tab, use "Rotate".  However, whether an image initially shows as Portrait or Landscape depends on the image file itself.

However, I do not think you can change the default orientation

bakfaloni got an answer. See http:#a38361867
It does not seem possible to change the orientation of the Paint window.  But the orientation of the image once in the Paint window can be changed.
