Why do I have problem with signing in to Experts Exchange?

I am using IE9 on my Windows 7 Ultimate 64-bit. When I try to login to www.proz.com there is no problems when I left-click on my touchpad. But for a prolonged time it does not work for www.experts-exchange.com to login by left-clicking. Does anyone else has this problem? Or is it my touchpad click-button there is something wrong with?

How big is your screen display size??
Have you changed the zoom to more than 100%
I believe if your page is pretty zoomed maybe the EE web page doesn't expand fully then you can't everything correctly?
Full screen? try using just the large screen and pull out the edges to increase the size.
IE 9?
go to VIEW>Zoom >is 100% ticked or higher? lower it
Text Size medium or larger? make smaller.
See if your desktop display is pretty big and including IE 9 that may explain it
or EE page has not fully loaded and you need to wait a little, how many other web pages open? things running on the internet?
Sometimes EE is slow to load using IE 9.
Try Chrome instead just for EE.

To clarify a little: when I go to www.experts-exchange.com, and left-click on Member Login, I don't get the input area displayed so I can't input my user credentials (although it worked now a moment ago, earlier it did not work, just as left-clicking on Start menu/My computer doesn't work either).

It seems like  hardware related issue, can you give us more details on what hardware you are running this OS on.
Especially the touch screen; are the drivers up to date?

I've just run a lot of updates and have no more updates available. The touchpad is a Dell touchpad by Alps Electric (on a laptop: Dell Inspiron N5110).

Is the problem only on this touchpad, or does it happen on other machines in your house/network?  This could also be the EE servers - sometimes, they do work on them which has unintended consequences.
