Access link .mdb and .accdb tables

Hi

A software partner of ours has several Access 2003 .mdb databases at various sites that need to link to a table in my Access 2007 .accdb database accross each respective network.
What is the fastest/easiest way to set this up

Can you give more detail? Are all networks connected? If yes, have you any problems with channels quality? How big are databases?
From my experience will be better to make local copy of remote files with reasonable interval with some file sync software and link local files.

Short answer?  Don't.

JET will no oeprate over a WAN unless it is very high end.  If your running a VPN across the internet, it's not going to fly and you'll get database corruption at some point.

You can't link tables from an .accdb formatted database to a .mdb formatted database.

http://office.microsoft.com/en-us/access-help/introduction-to-the-access-2007-file-format-HA010067831.aspx#BMlinkedtables

See the section on Linked Tables, at the bottom of that article.
