Updating the WSUS Server manually with updates (LAB Environment)

Hello Experts,

I am creating a lab environment to practice WSUS . Now , My Problem is I dont have internet connection to my LAB , Hence synchronization of Microsoft update with WSUS is impossible here.

 So,

Is there any way that I can manually download the updates and put them in my WSUS server and distribute them,,

I know I have an option to download the updates in one of the WSUS server and export it to a Media and then we can distribute it (For disconnected network). But problem here is, I dont have access to the WSUS server from where I can export the Updates to a media.

Anyone have an resolution for this? Can I achieve this task?

Thanks,

_Prashant_

No, there is no other way except exporting the updates from another WSUS server.

SO,

There is no way to do this without having an internet connection?

Dstewartjr,

Is it applicable to WSUS , As I see  the document is more towards the SCCM etc.

Thanks,

You need a WSUS server with internet to download/synch from to export the updates so that you can import them into your lab.

Yes it's applicable to WSUS
