Remote users cannot send mail exchange 2010

Hi All,

We have 2 remote users and both are having issues sending mail and any email they attempt to send will remain in the outbox.

I don't know what the issue could be as nothing at this end has changed and the issue has been going on for several days now.

I have attempted to restart outlook in safe mode and delete messages in the outbox, disable all add ins, work offline then set to online again. etc... all typical suggestion found on google but for some reason i cannot seem to sucessfully get emails to send.

Users are currently running outlook 2010 and connects to exchange server fine and they can receive mail without any issues. We are running Exchange 2010 sp1.

Any advice and suggestions would be greatly appreciated as I urgently need to resolve this issue.

did you get chance to see their configuration ?
or try to re-configure there account in automatic option.

please tell more if remote user means more. if they access there with VPN conenction or external network

What is their Outlook versions and can they receive emails ?
Do the connect over Internet or VPN something ?

This issue was a internal network issue and re configuring the firewall resolved this issue.
