    Well... usually you should create on your site an application to reset passwords, when using aspnet_membership, as this system stores passwords encrypted for security reasons.

    However, if you haven't added it, you still can manage your site security, roles and users from Visual Studio / Web Developer 2010 web management. You can access it from your solution explorer clicking on the Configuration .NET button (the one with the hammer and the world, usually the rightmost on the top of solution explorer).

    If you don't manage to change password this way you always can try to execute any of those two stored procedures that should be on your database:

    You can also change passwords on your app users through code directly by using  MembershipService.ChangePassword method.

    Hi iMehran,
    i open database and see username and password but password is hash .

    Can you access the database?
    Do you have login credentials for the DB?

    If so, run some SQL like this:
    select U.Username, U.UserID, U.LastActivityDate, M.islockedout
    from aspnet_users U inner join
             aspnet_membership M on U.UserId = M.UserId
    where M.LoweredEmail = 'youremailaddress' -- all lowercase
    Then substitute your userid for the userid in the following sql:
    Update aspnet_membership
    set password = 'eW8dWoLWPAcEIdSB+EbEUAL+V+4=', passwordsalt = 'a1H1fIERaJLD6/VpbLQUlQ=='
    Where userid = '02378D3D-B45B-4B92-B124-E14F73BFD1D7'

    Open in new window

    Password is: let_me_in
