Deleted BES account still receiving mail

We have put a new user on an old company BlackBerry, but the phone is still receiving the old user's emails. The old user has been deleted from the BES server, but they needed the AD and Exchange account to be active. How can I stop the old user's mail still going to the phone?

Help and suggestions are always appreciated.

you need to wipe the phone go into options -> advanced options -> security -> do a wipe

Before this actually take a backup of the phone through blackberry desktop manager for devices prior to Blackberry OS 10, for Blackberry OS 10 or later take the backup through blackberry link.

Once you do the security wipe set the enterprise activation pin on the server for the new user, then go into options -> advanced options -> enterprise activation and activate the new users email and pin.

Please ensure the sim in this blackberry is bes compatible, best way to check this or not is whether it activates or not, keep me posted pls.
