You need a 3rd part tool for monitoring user action. I am using Change Auditor from long time and it tracks everything. You can use it with AD, Exchange, File server etc. It is really a good tool and provide complete detail.<br />

You can use Varonis for this, it is used to query the activies on the folder/file.Also you can manage the ACL through the Varonis tool.<br />

I have a case where files are being moved or deleted and all of the users claim that they have done nothing. Actually they are trying to blame administrators for the missing files. What can we do to catch the liar? <br />
I would need a software solution that will record any changes in the file structure for example - User John Doe moved folder &quot;Secret Stuff&quot; to folder &quot;John's Stash&quot; or User John deleted folder &quot;Secret Stuff&quot; @ 14:35 on 3rd of September 2012. <br />
