EventID: 1206 Event Source: ADWS Active Directory Web Services was unable to determine if the computer is a global catalog server.

Also got dns error logs too.. All these events started yesterday.

What is the best approach to resolving this.WIll a simple reboot be fine or should i be more concerned?

Try a reboot. If that doesnt help you might wanna try to enable/disable global catalog on this machine,  like disable it, then re-enable it.
