QOS for VOIP traffic using Cisco CF300-48P switch w/Zultys MX250

We jut got a Cisco SF 300-48P switch for our office, and I'd like to take advantage of the QOS features to optimize VOIP. We use a Zultys MX250 PBX for our phone system. I've never really done anything with QOS before and could use a little instruction. Documentation is sparse, or at least difficult to locate on configuring QOS.

Most Cisco switches can be setup using Auto QoS - a Cisco feature that automates the process fairly reliably.  Read about it here:

woo! That looks really promising. Give me a couple of days to look over that and I'll get back to you Monday.

MSPs: Endpoint security isn’t enough to prevent ransomware.

I'm not sure this switch has Auto QOS. If it does, I couldn't get it activated. I did get auto Voice Vlan turned on; which may be the same thing. The big thing is that I discovered that the config file that my predecessor created for the Polycom VOIP phones in this office were not set to mark packets with DSCP 46; so the QOS was worthless anyway, as it couldn't differentiate between the VOIP packets and the standard data packets. I've updated the config files, and so far so good. I'm going to wait a couple of days and let people make calls to be sure, but I think we're good.

Assuming all is well, points will go to JRSCGI for pointing me in the right direction.

Well, no complaints so far, so I'm going to assume that did the trick. Thanks everyone!

Didn't really fix the issue, but got me thinking in the right direction at least.
