Asset Management Solution that can integrate w/Nagios

Our production uses Nagios heavily. We're looking for a solution (open source preferred) that can integrate with Nagios that would provide asset management.  Anyone have any recommendations?

I've read about OSC Inventory, ocsinventory-ng.org.  However, haven't heard how easy it is (if at all) to integrate with Nagios.

The eyesofnetwork does integrate with nagios as per link shared previously. E.g. Relevant IT monitoring modules as part of asset management include

NAGIOS : managing incidents and problems,
NAGVIS : customizable mapping of the availability,
NAGIOSBP : management of the application criticality,
CACTI and PNP4NAGIOS: Performance Management,...

There are further document to guide and screenshots and worthy to explore as a candidate.

Overall it can be explore further in the details.

I propose the answer be accepted as question asked in general unless there is specific use case to drill into then that can be a new question.
