With the new Dynamic Access Control feature in Windows Server 2012, is it possible to automatically set folder permissions based on it's folder name?

For example, whenever I create a project folder, I want permissions set automatically set for the sub folders

-Project Folder
--Financial Information (Accounting Department)
--Wage & Salary (HR + Accounting Department + Project manager)
--Proposal (Marketing + Project Manager)
--etc (Everyone)

    Accepted Solution

DAC works differently using Claim based permissions, so permissions are not applied to the folder rather you grant the access based on your claim which could be based on department for sure. here is a nice article
