Creating a twisted rectangle with an Arc

How do I warp or create an arc that flows over this image.......
The anvil image is the base of the image. I have been trying to get the Red Envelope with the "@" symbol to lay over the anvil in an arch shape then bring the hammer in over the "@" symbol as if it has hammered a stamp into the Envelope.

The envelope is a rectangle with two lines in as the envelope flap and the "@" symbol is a simple text character rotated.

The Hammer is an image I traced from another image and will do for now.

I spent sixteen hours trying to figure a natural looking Arc over that anvil.  Using
1. Warp
2. Rotate
3. Twist
......and about another 12 other functions. Trying to the point of blurred vision from the effort. I am coming to the conclusion there must be a simple way to match the arc needed to make a natural look of a object being hammered out on an anvil.

If anyone has any ideas on how this could be done. I would be eternally grateful.....eternally grateful.....!

    Hi ruavol2
some of these tricks like Wrapping around a curved object  can be done in Adobe Illustrator and other tools.
I dont have Photoshop but rather use a combination of tools such as Inkscape is an alternative to Adobe Illustrator
, and Paintshop pro 7 and 9 Gimp and
    Here's an idea from youtube
    be patient
How to drape one photo over another
    Inkscape for Adobe Illustrator users
just to get your ideas firing,
Here's my start using paintshop pro
your Photoshop should have similar tools
this just my first test took all of 5 secs
I use the selection tool with point to point put a dotted a line around the envelope
only then went to effects geometric effects /perspective horizontal and adjusted the perspective, note it does shift a lot so will work on that
I'll play around with this and test it out in my other tools as well will post back as I do each
so you can look at it
I would do this in stages so that each piece is finished then try overlaying the final results.
    Using copies of course
Here's the first just with the envelope starting to wrap over the anvil
    dotted lineadjusting perspective
adjusting perspectiveHere's another took me about 5 minutes
I just copied out the flag and separated the anvil, then put the flag over the anvil again and added the perspective then copied the hammer and added as transparent layer.
I know it's very rough but just to give you some ideas
Double wammy effectsmaller and higher off the stamp
if the top 2 hammers are faded out at various levels it could depict movement
higher off the stampDo you have the anvil /envelope as separate images
But is this what your kind of looking for?

That was helpful. Would have been great to see in an Adobe product but knowing about the open source tools was cool.

Thanks, they all have similar tricks ruavol2
Using separate images is the way to work with this then there is not a lot of repair needed to the background image.
    All the Best
