Enter Parameter Value in Access Report

Hi,

  I have a access 2003 Report that is based on the following query.

SELECT MARY.LINE, MARY.PART, MARY.DESC, MARY.QOH, MARY.COST, MARY.EXTC
FROM MARY
WHERE (((MARY.QOH)<>0))
ORDER BY MARY.PART;

 I can run this query separately and it produces results fine.
 But when I run thereport based on this query, I get a popup window with the title "Enter Parameter Value" and text box title say "whse". When I enter, for example, "XXX", XXX does not show up in the report. In fact the report has NO Field Name called "whse".
I am afraid that the user may have copied this report from original report that might have had the field name "whse".
Anyway I like to know how I can get rid of this prompt.

Thanks.

Check your Sorting and Grouping.  You probably have whse listed there.

@ IrogSinta

That was it. The user had two lines/fields in Sorting section - Whse and Part.
I simply replaced the field "whse" with "Part" and it worked just fine.
You are very good. Thank  you.

If both were just for Sorting and not Grouping, you could just remove one of them.
