XP Mode can't Share USB

I have a Toshiba laptop that I can't share the USB's. I've not had this problem with any desktop or laptop. I normally just hit share and then yes on the screen saying it will remove functionality from Windows 7. When I say yes, I get an error saying that I need to try another USB or restart XP Mode. I've done every USB and restarted multiple times. Any thoughts on what I can do?

Make sure there is nothing accessing that USB device within your Host OS (Windows 7) at the time you want to use it within XP Mode. If you find such an application stop that app. For example, if I have a USB stick connected, and also songbird is running, songbird mounts that USB stick and searches it for sound. So while songbired is running I won't be able to access the USB stick directly from within a Virtual Machhine. If I close songbird the device then gets available to the VM.

There is nothing accessing the USB nor a USB printer. This is the only USB device in the laptop.

Despite its humble beginnings, phishing has come a long way since those first crudely constructed emails. Today, phishing sites can appear and disappear in the length of a coffee break, and it takes more than a little know-how to keep your clients secure.

Toshiba's have a USB Sleep and Charge utility installed so you can charge your phone/i<thing>/MP3Player (etc.) and it is using the USB ports. http://forums.toshiba.com/t5/General-Features-Knowledge-Base/About-the-Toshiba-Sleep-Utility-amp-USB-Sleep-and-Charge/ta-p/277937
You almost undoubtedly need to uninstall it or deactivate it.

I uninstalled the sleep utility but the USB's still don't work. Toshiba has a ton of programs on the laptop, I tried a few more with no success. Any other ideas?

XP Mode also won't work on any USB 3 ports.
What is the model of the Toshiba? (i.e. M305D-S4672)

Every USB is 3.0 on this laptop, looks like I am out of luck.
