Upgrade W7 Pro 32 to W7 Pro

I have a client that needed 32 bit Windows because of compatablity with one critical software program. We built a W7 32 bit OEM master because of that, but that program has since been replaced and we can now move up to 64 bit.

The question: is it possible to upgrade the W7 Pro OEM 32 bit master image to W7 Pro OEM 64 bit master image to use for all future machines. I don't want to have to start from scratch building a new 64 bit master image.

You need to build another image from scratch. Their is no path to upgrade from 32 to 64 bit machine. You need to perform a clean install.

Chosen because it was the most through answer.

I assume Windows 8 will not help either?
