Unable to synch iTunes music into iPhone due to mismatch capacity reported ?

Why my Itunes report my current iPhone is 2 GB over the limit in yellow "Other" category ?
while in the iphone itself i have already check that it has 1.5 GB free disk space unused.

I'm now unable to synch my new music into it.
any idea how to fix this issue ?

It is a common problem for iPhone, the free disk space you seen cannot be used for syncing your music and you need to resolve the over limit issue in yellow "Other" category first before you can do any sync.

The free disk space you seen in iPhone is different from what your computer sees via iTune and if iTunes judges that yellow "Other" category is over limit, it will NOT do any sync.

The info below in the link below will be useful for you.
