I have a Cisco Catalyst 3750G-TS switch. &nbsp;When powering on, all of the status lights come on, then the syatem light flashes 5 times. &nbsp;That is the only indication I get that the switch is working. &nbsp;Even when using a console cable, there is no activity when it should be booting, all I get is a blank console screen. &nbsp;I have attempted resetting by holding the mode button while powering on, but this does not solve the issue. &nbsp;Does anyone have an idea on how to resolve this issue and get our swithc back up and running?

Catalyst 3750G Will Not Boot

A switch is a device that filters and forwards packets of data between LAN segments. Switches operate at the data link layer or the network layer of the Open Systems Interconnection (OSI) Reference Model and therefore support any packet protocol. LANs that use switches to join segments are called switched LANs or, in the case of Ethernet networks, switched Ethernet LANs. A hub is a connection point for devices in a network. A hub contains multiple ports; when a packet arrives at one port, it is copied to the other ports so that all segments of the LAN can see all packets.
