Netscreen 50 Configuration to Access Internet

Hi, I am new to firewall configurations.   I have a netscreen 50.  I have one server attached to the firewall and I cannot access the internet.  Would I need a public IP to accomplish this?

You do not need a public IP. You just need to make sure there is a policy from trust - untrust permitting traffic to the internet.
