VMWare, can not connect PassThru NIC

I added a new NIC, and marked it as PassThru

Then I added it as a PCI device to the Windows VM

Then I 'Removed' the existing "Network Adapter 1" from the VM

Then I started up the VM

I can see the NIC on the Device Mgr (Broadcom), but when I try to configure the NIC, it says that no networking hardware can be found

How can I diagnose ?
