I need help with a suppress statement. In my crystal report, I have 3 detail sections ... details a, b and c.

On details A, I have an "English" form
On details B, I have an "Spanish" form
On details C, I have an "Russian" form

If my patients speaks languages based on these forms, I wish to return the appropriate letter. If the patient speaks any other language then whats listed, I would like it to default to the "English" one. My field name is {ado.Language}. What would be the best approach to doing this? Thanks in advance.

    Accepted Solution

Use conditional suppress on the detail sections

    Details A
         {ado.Language} = "Spanish"  OR  {ado.Language} = "Russian"

    Details B
         {ado.Language} <> "Spanish"

    Details C
         {ado.Language} = "Russian"
