# Excel 2007 Survey Results Sort

Hi, I have a 2007 Excel worksheet that has raw data from a survey and I need help sorting it.

See the attached. I need to have the % for each question by the number.

1 = No
2 = Rarely
3 = Sometimes
4 = Often
5 = Always

I actually have over 1700 rows, I only included the first 10.

-Thanks.

I'm not sure what that means. Could you please show an example of the output you'd like?

3=0%
4=30%
5=70%

I dont need the 0%'s

If that's what the Asker wants it's a nice solution.

TheBarMan has the cells formatted as Percent; just change it to Number.

What do I modify for my original 1700+ rows file

Nothing, just pop more data into sheet 1

You'll need to change the formatting of the cells in the sheet to match the formatting in the solution. And of course use the same formula.

There is no need. no formatting.. though the TOTAL row formula needs correcting:

``````=COUNTIF(Sheet1!\$A:\$AA,Sheet2!\$A2)/COUNT(Sheet1!A:AA)
``````

It was limited to first 11 rows

I added the new formatting works great. I just noticed that I left out some other sorting. I will post another question. I need to sort by Org and department.
