As for credit cards, that is probably beyond the realm of EE, you need internet merchant account, acquiring bank, service provider, your website has to pass strict PCI compliance...

Paypal Does accept credit cards as payments from people who doesnt have Paypal Accounts.

Try Stripe.Its better .

Website:https://stripe.com/

Documentation : https://stripe.com/docs

I didn't say they didn't but since they asked about MasterCard, Visa, Paypal you can only assume they know what PayPal is and were asking about taking credit cards directly on their site as well as PayPal.
Stripe is US based only
Moneybookers is another payment provider like PayPal.

As Gary said, you need an internet merchant account tied to a bank account and a payment gateway to post the payments to.  Paypal can combine all of that for you.  In any case, you need to sign up and get the API code from service you choose.  They are all different.

Use PayPal, full stop.  Its costs are comparable to credit cards, it's easy to use, lots of people understand it, etc.  The direct interface to the banking system required for the credit cards is going to cost you a ton of time and money, and PayPal has already abstracted this for you.

As far as "showing you how to set it up" that is beyond the scope of anything we can offer here at EE.  It's got a lot of moving parts.  The last time I read the developers guides, there were hundreds of pages of documentation that you needed to know.  So start your learning adventures here:

If you decide (as you probably should) that hiring a professional would get you to a solution faster, you may be able to find a developer through their network.

I would head on over to paypal and create a business account with them...(no costs involved).  Once you create that account, they have several tutorials and walkthroughs that will help you navigate through the craziness of online merchants.

Paypal does off a nice integration into you website that doesn't even show it's using paypal, but that's a lot of $$ / month.  You can use  the free stuff with paypal with little to no effort on your part.

Also, paypal can take all of the major payments I believe...so all you really need is that.  And YES, CHOOSE PAYPAL...they are secure and insure you and the buyer...
