I am trying to configure my Adtran 4305 for a new P2P line.  I selected T1 3/8 port and want to assign the internal IP address as 192.168.1.3 to the port PPP4.  When I give it a subnet mask of 255.255.255.252 I get an error
Error: Bad mask 255.255.255.252 for address 192.168.1.3

I have other t1's configured with different IP addresses on Ports T1 3/1-3/6 but the only differences is they are two bound together.

Any suggestions would be appreciated.

Thank you.

The problem you are having is with the IP you are using.  192.168.1.3/30 is a broadcast address of the network 192.168.1.0/30.  If you want to use this network, you will need to use either 192.168.1.1 or 192.168.1.2 as your IP.
