Best Practice for Creating Additional Sites in Drupal?

I've installed a local WAMP stack for Drupal test and development.

My default site is "Site-A".

Going foward, I want to develop new sites, no relation to each other.

Do I simply create a directory "Site-B" in the Sites folder?

Then access like  http://localhost/sites/Site-B   ?

What's the best practice for creating several sites in the same Drupal installation ?

Take a look at example.sites.php located in the sites folder. It explains how to set up the multi site aliasing feature using a sites.php file. After you set it up, you'll be able to do something like http://localhost/Site-B to access your site.
