HP Proliant leds flashing like crazy

Hello experts

We have a HP Proliant DL380 G7 which the front panel's LEDs are flahing like crazy. Never seen that before.

My coworker took a shot of it a few minutes ago: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=cMZTW2kG3_o

Everything is working fine. The ESXi server shows no alerts, all its VMs are working fine.

Thanks for your help.

That'll be the Systems Insight Display subassembly failed then, probably one of the many RISC processors that float about inside your server has gone wrong, looks like it is continually resetting itself. See item 19 on page 20 of http://bizsupport1.austin.hp.com/bc/docs/support/SupportManual/c02159538/c02159538.pdf

A bit fiddly to fit so HP will send an engineer out if you ask rather than mandatory customer self repair.

Finaly they change the front led panel, and they had to come back to change the Mobo.

Mobo was defective.

Thanks
