I have a Buffalo Linkstation, LS-CH1.0TL and cannot access it.  I can ping it, but not accessible via http and boots up in EM Mode using NAS Navigator.  I've tried flashing the firmware, but get:
"could not confirm whether the partition exists. Cannot update the firmware. Firmware updating is aborted."

I've pulled the hard drive from the case and want to know if there any way to retrieve the data off the drive?  It's just one drive, no RAID.  I've plugged into my Windows machine, Disk Management says "Healthy (GPT PRotective Partition)" with 100% Free Space.

It uses a LINUX file system, so you will have to boot a machine to LINUX to read it, then you can copy the data via FTP or another network service to a different PC.
