tylerpayne that did it. &nbsp;SSL 3.0 and TLS 1.0 were checked but SSL2.0 wasn't. &nbsp;But now I have IE and logmein. &nbsp;<br />

I’m setting up a new laptop for a customer. &nbsp;Gateway ne56r13u Intel B820 with 8GB memory running Win7 Premium 64 bit.<br />

I have connectivity both wired and wirelessly. &nbsp;I can get on the Internet with Firefox and also Windows Update downloads and installs updates. &nbsp;But IE9 says it can’t connect to the Internet. &nbsp;When I do diagnosis the troubleshooter can’t say what the problem is. &nbsp;Also I tried to install Logmein. &nbsp;There I’m eventually stopped by a message saying, “a connection with the server could not be established”. &nbsp;I looked for proxy servers but didn’t find any. &nbsp;I tried turning off IPV6 on the adapters but that didn’t help.<br />

So…. What do Firefox and Windows Update know that Internet Explorer and Logmein don’t?<br />
