Complex Password Requirements

Hello Experts,

I am needing assistance with creating a more complex password policy GPO for the network.
I would like to list specific words that cannot be used in a password and I would like to prevent users from just changing the number at the end of their current password when its time to change.
Any suggestions?
DC is Server 2008 R2 Std

Thanks

You won't be able to do that natively in Windows unless you try and write your own password filter (not recommended).  There are third party tools that may help you with different filter options

Thanks

There is Nothing you can do from inbuilt Windows R2 you will have to create customised password filters and deploy

A lot of help was given or linked. I would call it a split between all contributers.
