Cannot add a new virtual machine in Hyper-v on Windows 2008R2
Anyone can do me favor ? After i installed Hyper-v in Windows 2008, i want to add a new virtual machine. but i got an error message, please see attachment. Thank you

    You need to Disable UAC (turn it all the way down) and reboot the box.

    After reboot try again to create the vm.

    That because you already have an existing VHD file in the same location. When you are creating the VM give another name to the VHD file.

    thanks, spaperov is right. after i changed the name, it moved forward, but just one step. and then stop there after i started it, i do know why it do like that. please see picture.
