Remote Desktop Users cant paste clipboard items into terminal server sessions
Hi ladies and gents,
Our remote desktop clients cannot use clipboard functionality when connecting to remote desktop sessions on our terminal server. The clipboard checkbox is greyed out on the RDC session template that is downloaded from RWW
We have the following setup
1x SBS 2011 server (DC)
1x Windows Server 2008 ENT running Hyper V (DC)
1x Windows Server 2008 Ent running remote desktop services role (hyper-V guest, domain member but not currently a DC
5x Remote desktop client machines running windows 7 64bit. The remote desktop client machines are not domain member and do not have any group policies applied to them
Users use the RWW website hosted by the SBS to connect to the terminal server, but cant copy and paste into their sessions. We would like to resolve this issue, we are also keen on enabling client printer and drive redirection. Any help is greatly appreciated
So far I have
-Checked the default GPO and TS CAP on the SBS 2011 machine
-Checked the default GPO TS CAP on the RDS/TS Machine
-Tried to edit the rdc file created by RWW (clipboard is greyed out)
The above was done to the best of my ability, but I am far from adept at understanding and manipulating GPOs.
Cheers, Paul
