I have deployed VMware ESXi 5 with update 1. It has 4 nIC with 2 physical CPUs.I am really new to Vmware.
1.) I have setup just 1 Vswitch with 4 NICs.This is used for both Management and Vms'.Any problem with it or any recomendations.
2.) Is the free version limited to 32GB memory
3.)Can I have windows 2008 r2 template so that I can use it to deploy new machines.  I can't seem to find an option for template.

1. If you only have Virtual Machines and Management network, a single vSwitch is okay with four physical nics attached.

2. The free version of ESXi 5.0 is restricted to 32GB memory.

3. Template functions is only available in vCenter Server, but you can create a VM, name it a template and use my EE article to clone or copy for easier deployment. You can purchase VMware vSphere 5.0 Essentials, which licenses you for three (3) hosts with 2 processors each, and VMware vSphere vCenter server for approx $500. (64GB per server)

HOW TO: Clone or Copy a virtual machine in VMware vSphere Hypervisor ESX/ESXi 4.x or ESXi 5.0
