I am trying to install ESXi 5 onto a Dell Power Edge 1950, but get the following error;

I couldn't find a Dell copy of ESX, so used the one on the VMware. Do you have a link and I'll give it a go.

How do I update it to 2.7, the utility on the Dell website looks like its for windows.

You will need to download the Dell Server Update Utility, and BOOT the Server from this CDROM.

Where can i get the Dell Server Update Utility, it doesnt seem to be listed in the download section...

The Server Update Utility ISO is 4GB... is there a smaller file for just the BIOS?

You need to use both DVDs, Server Update Utility, and the Firmware DVD.
