outlook 2010 saving attachments
Seeing a strange issue within outlook 2010,
when a user gets a Jpg file as an attachment, he right clicks and saves it however instead of it calling it file.jpg, It calls it file (no extension) and the drop down shows as all files, so when you save it, its a non recognized file.
Any ideas?

Save the file and then rename the file extation as .jpg or save file as for "filename.jpeg" then check.
When you go to save it: file.jpg then hit save.

shouldn't it automatically know what it is? I have office 2010 and when i save an attachment, it saves correctly without any intervention
It should but who knows, things happen. Did you try it and did it not work?
Run the antivirus scan on the machine then check.

Did installing the latest Service pack for windows or Office resolve the issue?
add the .jpg when it takes it away
